Zombies in Canberra: Spread the Infection

If it’s true that zombies eat brains they’ll be spoilt for choice in clever Canberra. With the popularity of the walking dead showing no signs of abating, locals can join in – or just watch – the Canberra Zombie Walk 2014. I wonder if any pollies will take part?

The all-ages, free walk takes place on 1 November, when participants can take advantage of the chance to dress as a zombie and stagger and lurch their way from Regatta Point to City Walk. The event aims to raise awareness of and funds for the Brain Foundation. I’ll be honest – this event isn’t my thing, but it’s a refreshing change from a punishing fun run, and the link between zombies and brains makes me smile.

Zombie revellers can kick on at an ‘after-party’ gig following the walk. See more at: www.canberrazombiewalk.com/
