Over $100,000 worth of allegedly stolen property – including a bathtub, an $8,000 e-bike and even toilet paper – has been recovered by ACT Policing after a raid on a house in Kambah last Friday (27 March).

More than a dozen pushbikes were found on top of a multitude of whitegoods, toilet suites, vanity units, basins and tiles that are believed to have been stolen from construction sites in Denman Prospect and Coombs in recent weeks.

Bikes

Dozens of bikes – including an e-bike worth $8,000 and another bike valued at $6,400 – were recovered during the raid. Photo: supplied.

Coins and stamp collections, tools, speakers, electronics and sporting memorabilia were also found.

Police were able to fill two evidence trucks after an investigation into an alleged recidivist property offender led officers to search the home.

Seized goods

The allegedly stolen goods ranged from building equipment and construction supplies to whitegoods and electronics. Photo: Supplied.

The 32-year-old Kambah man was already in police custody for unrelated matters and additional charges will be laid when he appears in court.

Investigations are continuing and more charges are expected to be laid against other individuals, police said.

Boxed items

Some items were found to still be in their original packaging, Police say. Photo: supplied.

Anyone who believes their stolen property may be in this collection of recovered items should contact ACT Policing on 131 444 and quote the reference number 6514186.

Anyone with information about stolen property is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.

Information can be provided anonymously.

Sports memorabilia

Sports memorabilia were among the $100,000 haul.
