A 32-year-old man has passed away in hospital overnight after yesterday morning’s horrific crash off the Tuggeranong Parkway.

Around 11:20 am yesterday, ACT Policing and ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene on the southbound exit ramp to Hindmarsh Drive where the driver of a white car had lost control and crashed into a tree.

The male driver was treated at the scene and transported to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition but he died overnight.

This is the eighth fatality on ACT roads this year.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident and preparing a report for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information or dash-cam footage that could assist police to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131444.
