Katy Gallagher today re-opened the new and improved Watson Medical Centre.
“I am pleased to be able to open this updated medical centre which will provide members of the Watson and surrounding communities with an improved health service which can deal with a range of issues close to their homes and workplaces,” the Chief Minister said.
“The clinic work with patients to help them manage chronic conditions, as well as provide a service for ongoing medical primary health care.
“The ACT Government has provided funding, as has the Commonwealth Government, to allow for the expansion of the facilities to include four consultation rooms and a group education room.
“Importantly the clinic will also improve physical access for people with a disability with a separate disabled toilet, a ramp, wider corridors, and wheelchair turning space.”
