Erindale McDonald's held up at knife point

Two men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives robbed Erindale McDonald’s early this morning (Friday 27 December). Police say they threatened staff before fleeing with money.

The men, who were wearing all black, entered the restaurant at around 1:20 am near the Erindale Shopping Centre and were last seen running off in the direction of Erindale Drive, possibly leaving the area in a dark-coloured BMW X5, according to police.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information, dash-cam or CCTV footage that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website and quote the reference number 6477965.
