The ABC ran a story explaining to all and sundry that Yass is rasing its dam wall height, after the talks between the Yass council and ACT Govt in regards to a piping water to our neighbours stalled.
Bill Stefaniak raised a few salient points in regards to the current Canberran Government, and its behaviour to our regional neighbours (agreeing with a liberal – f**k.). many of the town folk of Yass do pop into Canberra rountinely, be it for business or pleasure, in fact most town folk in the Canberra Economic Region do contribute directly to our economy, not too mention provide most of the foodstuffs that we gorge upon on a daily basis. I believe that ensuring that our regional neighours and ourselves have a safe and reliable supply of drinking water would be the neighbourly thing to do.
I see it as a shame, that after all the bleating from this Government about Sydney and its behvioural arrogance, that our glorious leader is complete pin head.
As my saviour, Larry the gimp says; sharing sugar with your neighbours, sure beats running away from them as they stab you.
