Dog of the Week – Leroy
It’s spotlight time and everyone is looking at Leroy.
Leroy has made great progress since coming into the shelter. He was a young man in need of some love and kindness. He was shy and nervous around people and other dogs. With the dedication of our team, he’s grown into a loveable dog who is happy to say hi to people and other dogs, though make sure you’ve got a reward for this good boy!
Leroy is a big, strong boy and a highly active dog. He would be suitable for a fit and active person who has experience with dogs. If this sounds like you and you have been thinking about adopting a four-legged friend, come on down to the shelter to meet him.
We know the right person would truly bring out the best in Leroy and he could be the best friend you need.

Rabbit of the Week – Selma
Can anybody find me some bunny to love?
Selma is a natural explorer. During one of her adventures, she got a little lost and came to us as a stray. Though she’s enjoyed her time at the shelter, Selma is ready to pack her carrier and find her forever home with a loving human.
She’s an adventurous girl by nature, so she would love a nice spacious, secure enclosure. Selma would also love a comfortable space in your home where she can spend some quality time with you for pats, scratches and love. Like most rabbits, she likes her feet on the ground, but she’s also happy to spend some quality lap time with you, especially if she has a lovely treat to eat.
If you’re ready for a furry friend in your life, come on down to the shelter and meet our loveable girl Selma.

Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday and public holidays: Closed.
Following government guidelines relating to COVID-19, RSPCA ACT is reducing foot traffic at our shelter. If you are interested in meeting these animals with a view to adoption, please complete an online application.
