ABC Online has an interesting snippet on the Comrade’s recent travels.

ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope will consult inmates at Junee jail about the facilities needed for a planned ACT prison.

He says while considerable consultation has already taken place on the prison’s design, it is valuable to have an understanding of what prisoners think of the way the institutions are run.

Wonder what they’ll ask for? More privacy, co-ed bunking, less drug testing, smaller guards, boltcutters and digging tools, possibly a ladder against the fence?

You mean Neverland Ranch ?

As I have suggested in a previous post, the new ACT prison should be set up like that guy in the states. Tents, Disney channel, work parties, etc..
Make prison a place that they don’t want to go to.

What have we here? obviously a newcomer to the site, and yet having firm views about our choice of language?

I think that current prisoners are a bankrupt choice for suggestions.

released prisoners might well have some valid insights however.

but frankly I think you’re a prick.
