Dog of the Week: Wynston
This handsome little dynamite is a very clever Kelpie who desperately wants someone to love. He comes with the full kit of Kelpie accessories, including intelligence, high energy, a wagging tail and affection for people.
Wynston is barely three years of age and would love to learn new tricks and commands from a dedicated new owner. He also likes to be the centre of attention and initially would benefit from being the only dog in your household.
He’s truly a classic Kelpie and thanks to regular walks and socialisation with our staff and volunteers, Wynston is fast becoming a wonderful pet – he just needs a consistent daily routine of love, playtime and a stable environment to become the Wynston the Wonder Dog we know he can be.

Cat of the Week: Eddie
Ahhhh, distinguished little Eddie, what a lovely cat. He turned four this week and would be the perfect addition to any loving home.
Eddie is one of our new wave of cats following our adoption blitz last weekend. It was a success, and the cattery was delightfully bare on Monday morning, but alas, as more cats become available for adoption, we’re filling up again fast.
Eddie is lovely, albeit a little bit shy, so he’ll take time to settle with you. But when he warms up, as he has with our staff and volunteers, you’ll find a friendly feline who loves strokes and pats.
He’s lived with other cats before, but he will need some time to settle before he becomes a perfect long-term companion. So drop by and say hello.
Pawnotes: Thank you, Canberra, for helping us ‘Clear the Shelter’ with our adoption blitz last weekend. We rehomed 64 cats in all and five large dogs. Of course, we still have plenty of companions waiting for you to adopt.
