ACT Policing members overnight arrested a 25-year-old Bonner man in relation to firearm and drug offences.
Detectives investigating an incident in Kambah last month where a shotgun was allegedly discharged at a stationary motor vehicle, executed a search warrant at an address in Bonner yesterday morning (Thursday, January 17), seizing a shotgun and ammunition, drugs and a large quantity of cash.
The 25-year-old male was not present at this address when the warrant was executed. He was subsequently located in Chisholm around 9.15pm last night at which time he was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, January 18) charged with unauthorised possession/use of a firearm, possess ammunition, drug trafficking and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
