- ACT Policing is investigating an incident of property damage at a school on Melbourne Avenue, Deakin, this morning (Friday, October 24).
At 7.00am police attended Canberra Girl’s Grammar School to a report of a burglary.
On entry to the school’s common staff room police observed numerous cupboards forced open. There was also damage to computers in two adjoining rooms and graffiti on a wall. The offender(s) have also used a photocopier to copy offensive material.
AFP Forensic Services attended the scene and a number of items were taken away for further analysis.
