Rugbyheaven now reports that Stirling Mortlock has been given a talking to by Brumbies management and will now captain the side next year,
This despite having to spend most of the season on the sideline due to undergoing a *THIRD* shoulder reconstruction.
I guess when you’re paying him to sit on the sideline it makes sense to give him something to do.
Actual on-field captaincy is apparently something the Brumbies can live without.
Coach Fisher will be relieved that, for once, they might actually follow his game plans.
