ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Fyshwick on Saturday night (October 1).
Around 6.50pm, a man entered the United Service Station on Canberra Avenue and threatened a male staff member with a knife, demanding cash.
The staff member handed over a sum of cash to the man, who fled the service station on foot.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm (5’9”) tall with a solid build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, blue tracksuit pants with a white stripe, white shoes, sunglasses and a red and white bandana.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the aggravated robbery or saw someone matching the above description in Fyshwick on Saturday night to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
