Child care recommendations

I don’t remember the name of it but the one near Ngunnawal primary was not the best experience for my son. I took him out of there after I walked in and heard the carer talking to the 2 year olds like a gestapo agent. Also a big thumbs up for Nicholls.

We live in the area as well and looked into childcare for ages before we needed it. Luckily we did because the centre we wanted to get into had a six month waiting list before we got a place. Our cherub goes to Nicholls Early Childhood Centre which is fabulous. Huge thumbs up to them. Includes nappies and hot meals every day. We have had very positive experiences with them and the staff are very caring and kind. They also charge a cheaper rate than many other centres, because they are a not-for-profit centre. Some centres were just downright rude and told us not to bother because there were no spots available for 2 yr olds. Other centres had available places, but charged a ridiculously high daily rate. But yes, put your name down early, then you need to keep ringing every month so they know you are keen, and you move up the list so-to-speak. Good luck!
