ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the offenders involved in two service station robberies overnight.

About 11.55pm last night (Thursday, September 5), two men entered the Giralang 7-Eleven armed with knives. They threatened the staff member, demanding cash and cigarettes.

The staff member complied, with the offenders fleeing on foot in the direction Giralang Primary School.

About 1.35am this morning the Calwell Woolworths service station was robbed in similar circumstances. On this occasion the offenders stole cigarettes and a mobile phone. They fled on foot toward Calwell Tavern.

AFP Forensic Services have analysed both crime scenes. Nobody was injured in either incident.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
