Five men, believed to be bikie gang members or associates, have been charged after police seized cocaine, 15 vials of steroids and handcuffs during a cross-border operation targeting bikie gangs last week.
As part of ongoing police inquiries into violent conflicts between members of the Finks and Comanchero bikie gangs in the ACT and surrounding region, officers from Taskforce Nemesis in the ACT and Raptor South in NSW seized drugs and handcuffs as well as serving four firearms prohibition notices.
Four men – aged 41, 46, and two aged 30 – have been charged with various offences and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
A fifth man, aged 24, was also charged with low-range drink-driving after being pulled over by police in Sutton.
The men, who Police believe are bikie members or associates, are due to appear in court at a later date.
Police inquiries are continuing.
