Former Australian Idol finalist Hayley Jensen performed at the Futures Festival in Albury on the weekend.

It was supposedly a half hour set at an outdoor concert on Saturday afternoon, part of the Futures Festival (which attracted 400 visitors – said to be not bad for a “pilot” event).
Hayley was originally from Albury. So not as much “Our Hayley” as some would like to think.
What was more interesting in the article was reference to Adam Spencer as a scientist. I know he’s got a serious maths degree (which is related to, but not the same as, science), but I thought his career was in radio and TV?
