saw the video on the CT facebook page.

IMHO the CT have shown poor judgement in describing the video and pictures as “awesome”

I don’t really understand how that’s poor judgement. Please explain.

awe·some [aw-suhm]
–adjective
1. inspiring awe: an awesome sight.
2. showing or characterized by awe.
3. Slang . very impressive: That new white convertible is totally awesome.

each of these three possible definitions have a positive spin, and I don’t think the fire is a positive event.

Rubbish, it’s a legitimate word used properly. The reason it sounds like ‘positive spin’ is because you’re used to people using it instead of the word ‘cool’. “That party was awesome”, “School was awesome today”, “That new chick is awesome.”

+1

Now if we can get him to visit His righteous wrath on “drive thru”s!

Maybe curtains for the building 🙂

Just Rite Insulation, NOT the slightly similarly named curtain place.

Until I get the police report I’ll trust my source on this one.

The fire started, I hear, in the insulation factory and spread to Just Rite.

Or you could do a Google search JB and find this: http://www.justrite.com.au/

And punch 14 Whyalla St into Google Street view and you’ll see that
1. on the left side is grassland and then a Brick wholesaler.
2. on the right side a very wide driveway then some fire wood.

And ESA said the fire was confined to the original structure.

No blinds, curtains or drapes in sight.

Well considering in the picture there is Bradford Insulation and Just-Rite, which does deal with Insulation, but also energy efficiency, I think both of you are wrong and right.

the name is Just-Rite Home Improvements. Its not a insulation factory, its is a insulation provider. It has never sold curtains in its life. The building was build in 1987, so 24 years old.

You can take this as a solid source!

Wow, funny how these business fires always seem to happen at ungodly hours of the morning, and never during business hours!

I hope the insurance payout is a good one…….

Great work, Fyshwick Heights! Thanks for posting.

Wow, commiserations to the business owners, if it bothers them. That’s a fairly new building, if memory serves me correctly.
