ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred on the corner of Launceston Street and Melrose Drive, Lyons last night (Saturday, November 12).
About 9.25pm a 51-year-old man was walking in Lyons when he was hit from behind and fell to the ground.
The two male offenders demanded his wallet before one of the males, armed with a baseball bat, struck him in the face.
The men then fled the scene on foot with the victim’s wallet.
The first man is described as aged in his 20s, wearing a black hooded jumper and black cloth concealing his face.
The second man is described as aged in his 20s and wearing a black jumper.
