Thanks Dungfungus. My bad I meant Rattenbury.

However you must excuse me as it’s easy to confuse Government Ministers who talk a lot about logical and smart policy, but end up only delivering policy that suits their own personal agendas.

A few ex ACT Politicians have moved to Victoria. When Andrew Barr gave the AFL $23 million dollars for a handful of GWS games he must have contracted Victoria to take our political deadwood. In reflection the outrageous AFL deal for Manuka may be better than I thought.

In the case of MLA Deb Foskey I hope she is not taking a Victorian public house.

It has become an all too sad state of affairs when the ACT Government puts more commitment, time and effort into developing some micro parks for Civic than actually tackling a group of offensive individuals with motorbikes running amok in the outer suburbs of Canberra.

If the Bikies up the road from my Dad’s in Calwell moved house to near Mr Barr or Mr Corbell in the inner North, you could guarantee the Politicians would take some initiative to resolve the situation and make the streets of our own backyard a safer and more enjoyable place again.

I saw police talking to a guy in Lonsdale Street the other day about his loud motorbike muffler, but I watch the Bikies roar past police in Tuggeranong without the slightest hint of any action. I guess the ACT Government has rolled out the red carpet for OMCG’s from NSW and tied the hands of the Police, who just can’t be bothered trying to tackle this issue anymore.

Err, Mr Corbell moved to Victoria last year: https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/simon-corbell-victorias-renewable-energy-advocate/

I know many others who, like you, didn’t realize he wasn’t in Canberra anymore.

Funny ole world innit. In NSW there are articles like ” Kicking down doors and forcing tattooed bikies to kneel in submission, Strike Force Raptor has made life hell for outlaw motorcycle gangs and stripped bikie culture of its brutal glamour.”

Complete opposite here. Have gone from no shootings at all, to one every 2 months.. or is it one month. Tis a bit hard to keep up.

This was the situation in the ACT almost 10 years ago. What happened?

We need consistent laws with our surrounding states, to combat the crime rise. We should not be a safe haven for bikie gangs, we all know we’re the gangs go, crime goes up. I would much rather my taxs go towards more cops than more bullshit public artwork, wake up Chief Minister!
