Mugged in Ngunnawal

By johnboy - 8 April 2013 4

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred at the weekend.

Around 4pm on Saturday (April 6) a woman was approached at the rear of the Ngunnawal Shops by two men as she was attempting to enter her vehicle.

One of the offenders demanded cash from the victim after he exposed an object in his waistband. While this was occurring, the second offender stood a short distance as lookout.

The offenders fled the area with a small sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

AFP Forensics attended and examined the scene.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious last weekend at the rear of the Ngunnawal Shops is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.

Information can be provided anonymously.

I’m sure they’ll feel remorseful – when the Police eventually catch up with them.
