Police call for witnesses after man assaults resident in O'Connor home

Police would like to speak with the owner of a white Ford Falcon after a man was allegedly assaulted in his home in O’Connor on Sunday morning.

At around 7:00 am, it is alleged a man with his face covered entered the O’Connor home. The offender physically assaulted a resident before stealing a wallet and running from the house.

The man is described as being between 18-25 years, 180-190 cm tall, of slim build with tanned skin. The man was dressed in all black, wearing a cap and had his face covered.

Police would like to speak with the owner of a white coloured Ford Falcon (pictured) which was seen in the area around the time of the incident.

Anyone with information that could assist police, including CCTV or dash-cam footage, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
