Police release face-fit of man alleged to have punched shop attendant

Police have released a face-fit of a man alleged to have punched a shop attendant in the face before committing a robbery in Acton two weeks ago.

About 8:30 pm on 21 July, a man wearing a dark beanie, beige jacket and beige pants entered a business on Marcus Clarke Street.

He allegedly punched the shop attendant twice in the face before stealing tobacco products.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 35-40 years old, about 188cm (6’2”) tall, average build, with dark short facial hair.

Police urge anyone who recognises this man, or who may have any information about this incident, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
