Police seek witnesses of aggravated robbery at Holt service station

Police are seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the 7-Eleven service station in Holt after a man threatened a staff member with a knife on Monday night (13 August).

Around 10 pm, a man wearing a black balaclava and armed with a knife entered the service station and made demands for cash and cigarettes. The victim complied and the offender fled with a sum of money.

The male offender is described as Caucasian, about 185cm (6’1”) tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and grey tracksuit pants.

He was last seen fleeing on foot towards the rear of the service station onto Starke Street, Holt.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
