Police seek witnesses to spate of knife-point thefts

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to any one of six robberies across the ACT this week, three of which involved a knife.

The robberies, that police believe are linked, involved individuals in Turner, Narrabundah and Hawker.

The six incidents took place on Monday, 6 December, between 9 am and 2:30 pm.

A spokesperson said the male offender used a knife to threaten victims on three occasions and made verbal threats during the other robberies.

The offender is described as Caucasian, tall with a slim build, short light brown hair and in his early 20s. He may also have a small beard.

He allegedly stole mobile phones, cash, wallets and cigarettes.

Police are seeking witnesses and any CCTV/dash-cam images of the robberies.
