Here’s what the press has been saying about Redletter’s debut album, ‘Your Planes Fill The Sky’…

“It’s one of those rewarding listens, where you feel like the band has grown and developed with you” – Beat

“…easily one of the best indie releases of 2006″ – FasterLouder

The first single ‘Better Things Behind’ has already been getting plenty of spins on Triple J, FM 104.7, and community radio around the country.

Now’s your chance to see of their labour as Canberra’s prodigal sons, Redletter, launch ‘Your Planes Fill The Sky’ at the ANU Bar this Friday night, 28 July.

Supported by Sydney’s I [love] Space, who have released one of the the best Australian singles of 2006 in their Triple J/OC hit ‘Birds Attack’. The four-piece are also sharing the stage at Redletter’s Sydney album launch on Saturday night – the last you’ll see of them for a while before they head back into the studio.

Rounding out the bill are The Ashburys, fresh from a near two-month break from the live stage. The Ashburys are gearing up for a mammoth second half of ‘06, with a Melbourne tour, more Sydney dates and a new demo to be recorded over the coming months.
