Pick of the Week
Perth indie rock band Spacey Jane are set to pack out Transit Bar on Thursday night (5 December) as they celebrate the release of their new single ‘Head Cold’. They’re Australia’s most talked-about new guitar band and those lucky enough to score tickets are about to find out why.
Local Matters
Dream pop trio Peach Lane care just as much about being best friends as they do about making music, and it shows. New single ‘Take This Day’ is a swirl of synths and ethereal voices that’s as welcoming as a morning coffee and it hints at a bright future for three musicians who have come to call Canberra home. Catch their single launch at the Polo on Friday with support from LIV LI and Eleanor Ailie.
Free For All
Embrace the festive season with Luminescence Children’s Choir this Saturday. They’ll be taking up residence in Garema Place and leading an afternoon of Christmas singalongs. Bring the whole family for this free event.
