Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week’s Pets of the Week are the lovely bunny rabbit Blossom, and handsome pooch Augie!
Rabbit of the Week – Blossom
Pretty little Blossom is ready to find her forever home! This little lady hasn’t had the easiest start to her life, and is looking for a rabbit-experienced family that has plenty of time, patience and tender loving care to share in her new home environment.
Blossom would prefer to be the only rabbit in her new home, or to live separately from any other resident rabbits as she has not had the best experience with other buns in the past. Blossom will ideally suit a home with adults only, that have time to dedicate to making her feel safe, secure and happy.
This little bun will thrive with plenty of room to live in and explore about. Blossom will enjoy interesting enrichment items that help keep her mentally and physically stimulated from day to day. Leafy lettuce and other wholesome snacks will be a treat for Blossom. She loves to snack and laze in the sun of her hutch at the Shelter and spend time out with our volunteers.
Blossom would love to get her second chance at a happy life. If you have space in your heart and your home, come and visit the Shelter.
Dog of the Week – Augie
Cute face, wide smile, meet Augie! This handsome young man is ready and raring to go. Augie is a young pooch, only one-and-a-half years old, with plenty to still learn about the world around him and would greatly benefit with some training classes outside of the Shelter. Augie would be thrilled to meet new people, other dogs and continue to develop his lovely manners.
Augie is a Kelpie-mixed breed with plenty of energy to spare. This bouncy boy will be looking for an active family, ready to take him of adventures, walks, hikes, maybe even a jog. Augie will benefit greatly from plenty of exercise, to ensure that he is kept mentally and physically healthy throughout his years.
Augie is a lovely dog, who enjoys spending time out walking with our volunteers and playing with tennis balls in the yard. This pooch is one of a kind, looking for the perfect family to call his own and give him a chance to be the best dog he can be.
