Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Isla and Flynn are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Isla

Isla the dog is a sweet girl who has missed out on some of the good thing’s life has to offer a beautiful dog. At times Isla can be a little hesitant and unsure of unfamiliar strangers but does warm up quickly once she is more comfortable. This beautiful girl would love to live an indoor or outdoor lifestyle and become a true member of her new family.

Isla is seeking a more experienced home with humans who are prepared to take her to training classes. This will ensure her active mind is kept busy with plenty of exercise and enrichment.

Lovely Isla is what we call an agile girl, so it is important her new home has good and strong fencing, preferably over 6 ft high. Isla needs controlled meetings with other dogs to give her time to feel comfortable, so for this reason we feel Isla will be best suited to being an only dog with no children in her new home.

Flynn

Flynn arrived as a stray, but is now looking for a forever home!

Cat of the Week – Flynn

Flynn the cat made his way to the shelter as a stray and now this handsome boy is ready to find his new forever home. Flynn is a very chatty cat and always has a lot to say. This fellow will meow at anyone who walks by, trying to spark up some conversation. Flynn enjoys a good groom when needed as long as it is taken slow and steady.

Flynn is ideally looking for a home with experienced cat owners who are adults and teens only. Flynn doesn’t have much favour for other cats and dogs so will be looking for a home where he can be the only pet about.

This gorgeous cat will need to live an indoor-only lifestyle to ensure he stays safe, warm and away from other cats. Flynn will make the perfect companion for the right type of people. So if you have some patience and a lot of love, make sure you book an appointment to speak with our staff.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
