Dog of the Week – Onyx
Meet Onyx. She was one of three pups in a recent litter at RSPCA ACT. Now that Onyx’s siblings have left the shelter, it is time for her to find her perfect home too.
Onyx and her siblings didn’t appear to receive much socialisation training in the early months of their lives, meaning some things are still quite scary for her. Her new family will need to introduce her to all the latest and novel things in her environment.
Onyx is a beautiful and charming girl; she loves her playtime and is always happy for a pat and a snuggle. Onyx would suit a home with someone who has the time and patience to allow her to grow into a loving and loyal dog.

Cat of the Week – Marble
Miss Marble is looking for a patient and quiet household to call her own. Do you think this could be yours?
When Marble first came into us, she didn’t have a lot of experience with humans at all. She is slowly coming around to the idea that humans are nice and we mean well.
She spent some time in foster care, adapting to her new way of life. When you come in to see her, she will greet you with a big meow when she is hungry and happily lounge in the same room. She has even learnt to play with cat toys.
Marble isn’t yet comfortable with pats, but she is very food-motivated, so spending time while feeding her is a great way to bond with her. She would be suitable in a home with a patient owner who can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell.
Marble loves other cats and is tolerant and sweet with kittens. She would suit a house with another cat as a playmate to keep her company.
Come on down and meet Marble. She is ready to flourish in a new home.

Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday and public holidays: Closed.
