Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Cute cat Talulah and rats Magenta, Janet and Columbia are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Cat of the Week – Talulah

Darling Talulah has been at the RSPCA ACT Shelter for some time now after being brought to us from a known cat colony. This lady needed lots of time, patience and love before she decided to grow out of her shell. Talulah is now ready to find a forever family to call her own.

Talulah takes her time to warm up to new people, but once she has decided that you’re ready to be friends, it shows. Talulah will spoil her new people with cuddles, love and a little bit of drool.

Due to Talulah’s past, she will need a home with adults only and no children. These people will need to be willing to allow her to get used to the idea of living in a home. It could take a few months before Talulah completely comes out of her shell, which is why she is looking for an experienced, mature and committed family.

Talulah will need to live an inside only life from now on. To help keep Talulah happy at her new home, her new family should provide plenty of enrichment items such as toys and scratchers.

Rats of the Week – Magenta, Janet & Columbia

Meet Magenta, Janet and Columbia. A trouble-making trio ready to bring some fun into their new forever family. These girls are full of energy and enthusiasm. They love to spend their day playing and eating before piling up together in bed for an afternoon snooze.

Magenta, Janet and Columbia are very social rats, but prefer not to be picked up until they get to know you first. These ladies are looking for a nice home to go to together, with no children under the age of 5.

Rats are intelligent and affectionate creatures. They love to spend their time resting and grooming themselves while the day goes by. These little ladies’ personalities will thrive when they are given lots of physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy.

Magenta, Janet and Columbia love to indulge in tasty treats, create nests with shredded paper and lounge about in their enclosure. The lovely girls are excited to find their forever home and will make perfect pets for the right family.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
