ACT Policing are investigating an aggravated robbery at a service station in Dickson late this morning (Thursday, August 11).
Around 11.30am, a man armed with a syringe entered the Woolworths petrol station on Dickson Place and approached the front counter. He threatened and demanded cash from an employee.
The man left the service station on foot with some cash. No one was injured during the aggravated robbery.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180 cm (5’11”) tall, aged in his mid twenties with a slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper and jeans, and was last seen heading towards the Dickson Tradies underground car park.
A number of witnesses are believed to have been inside the service station at the time of the robbery, and police are keen to speak with these witnesses.
