Witnesses sought after violent Braddon home invasion

By Lachlan Roberts 14 January 2019

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after a violent home invasion in Braddon during the early hours of Sunday morning (13 January).

Just after midnight, police responded to calls of an aggravated burglary and assault at a home on Lowanna Street, Braddon.

Police said the occupants suffered “serious head and facial injuries” and were treated and transported to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service.

A policing operation has been set up and though a number of people have come forward and assisted police with their enquiries, no charges have been laid.

Police are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious or anyone who has dash-cam footage or CCTV of Lowanna Street between the hours of 11:45 pm Saturday 12 January 2019 and 12:30 am Sunday 13 January 2019, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
