ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to an assault that is likely to have occurred in Gordon in the early hours of this morning (Monday 6 October).
About 4.30am ACT Policing and ACT Ambulance Service responded to a call about an injured male unconscious on the side of the road in Knoke Avenue, Gordon.
The male was being assisted by several friends who had found him after returning from a night out in Civic.
The male was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital with facial injuries consistent with having been assaulted.
