Woman assisting police with Forrest shooting

Police are also seeking dash-cam and CCTV footage from certain areas.

A woman is assisting police with their enquiries over the shooting in Forrest on Tuesday morning.

A 27-year-old man has faced court over the incident but police are continuing their investigations into the shooting on Dominion Circuit, which resulted in a woman being treated in hospital for gunshot and shrapnel wounds.

No charges have been laid against the woman who is assisting police.

ACT Policing is also requesting assistance from anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage of a small blue Hyundai Getz (without registration plates) driving in the areas of Erindale between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Monday, 4 November 2019; Weston Creek between 8:00 am and 11:00 am on Tuesday, 5 November; and Wanniassa between the hours of midnight and 6:00 am on Tuesday 5, November.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses; however, anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police is urged to contact police operations on 131 444. Please quote reference 6457676. Information can be provided anonymously.
