From the release:
The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that there will be partial road closures along Lady Denman Drive and Clunies Ross Street between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm from Monday 22 April to Thursday 25 April 2013.
The following detours will be in place:
— Traffic travelling westbound on Parkes Way can exit onto Lady Denman Drive but access will be blocked to Clunies Ross Street.
— Lady Denman Drive will remain open to westbound traffic, however it will be closed to eastbound traffic between Forest Drive and Garryowen Drive. Access for local traffic will be maintained.
— A section of Clunies Ross Street beneath the Parkes Way overpass will be closed.
Clunies Ross Street will remain open between Barry Drive and the Parkes Way onramp.
The closures are to allow for the placement of two bridge beams over Clunies Ross Street for the Parkes Way widening project.
Further closures are expected in May to allow for the placement of the remainder of the bridge beams.
Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the closures.
The ACT Government thanks motorists and other road users for their patience during this work.
