As far as this nonsense is concerned, what a waste of police time. What a welcome to Australia to have to put up with this crap. Nobody was harmed, you can see that every day at Kambah Pool or in a gym or pool change room. Hopefully the court will throw this out.

Consent and the Subjective Expectation of Privacy are the issues here.

If someone chooses to go to Kambah Pool and show some flesh, they consent to being seen by others, and maybe to being filmed (or maybe not, I don’t know what kind of shenanigans y’all get up to there…). Exactly what the clientele there hold as a mutually reasonable subjective expectation of privacy is up to them and any other willing participants.

Being filmed in a shower, be it at home or in a shared dorm scenario, is again one holding an existing expectation of privacy by anyone using that shower, and mutual consent of all participants if it gets redefined.
