As long as there are public carparks to an equivalent or greater number built under them I don’t see why it should be a problem – except during construction.

Also according to the sound report it will be 6mm float glass. I didn’t see the words double glazing in that part.

If I read the application right, sound testing was conducted between 3pm and 5pm and only for traffic. Guess they don’t care about checking for casino//club/bar noise impacts.

If I had the money I would be interested in buying there, but I do think not checking the noise at night is a bit short sighted.

I thought this was what people wanted – a vibrant city centre? Braddon will be starting its redevelopment over the next few years, and there’ll be a fair bit of new building going there also.

And in the CT today is the ad for the sale of two open carparks in the city – the one across from the Charcoal Grill and the one opposite Moosheads – both on London Circut.

If I was a city shop keeper not in the Canberra Centre – I’d be looking to close up now before the debts start piling up. Just where are we supposed to park in the city Mr Stanhope?

Never mind Transit Bar, wouldn’t it be the Holy Grail that had better watch it’s noise levels.

It seems Glebe Park is also a great outlook for the malls skip bins, loading bay and multi story car park.
