The National Folk Festival is back this weekend, with hundreds of acts including Archie Roach, Kate Ceberano, and Josh Pyke set to perform at the four day-long event at EPIC.
Along with the Folky comes its shadowy twin in Smith’s Alternative’s Anti-Folk Festival. Taking place across the long weekend, it’s a chance to catch sets from a host of local artists like Hashemoto, The Cashews, Lisa Richards, Bec Taylor and many more.
Legendary Australian singer-songwriter John Butler is also in town this week. He’ll be gracing the stage at the Canberra Theatre Centre with an intimate solo show, drawing on material from across his long and storied career.
