Witnesses sought after knife pulled during alleged City assault

Police are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault in Canberra City.

It’s believed a man approached a group of people sitting on a bench near the Pearl Hotel, near the intersection of Bunda and Genge Streets, at about 6:10 am on Sunday, 10 April.

A short time later, an argument occurred between two of the men. That’s when police said a knife was “produced”.
