UPDATE 1:25 pm: Good news, Canberra! ACT Police have identified the woman and thanked the community for their assistance.
11:30 am: Police need our help to identify an elderly lady found wandering the ANU campus early this morning (11 April).
Officers were called at about 3:20 am by the university’s security after they found the woman walking alone.
Police said she hasn’t been able to provide her name or address and had no phone or identification with her.
She’s described as being in her 80s, of Caucasian appearance, about 158 cm (5’2″) tall, with short grey/white hair and a slim build.
When she was found, she was wearing red/maroon glasses and a knitted cardigan.
The woman was taken to hospital for observation.
