Police are asking for help to identify a rideshare driver who may have transported several men from an alleged robbery at a party in September.

Emergency services were called to a late-night dance party in Kowen Forest, near Sutton Road, at around 2:45 am on 29 September.

A group of men had allegedly demanded cash and items of value from the partygoers, with two people taken to hospital with minor injuries.

About eight alleged offenders fled the scene in a rideshare vehicle before police and emergency services arrived, police claim.

Police are now searching for the driver, who they say may have transported several men that they believe to be involved from the party to the Canberra CBD in the early morning of 29 September.

This vehicle was possibly a silver Kia Carnival or similar.

While police said in September they believed there were more than 10 alleged victims, the spokesperson said there were now at least 20 people who were allegedly robbed or assaulted.

Anyone who can assist police in relation to this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1800 333 000 or by visiting Crime Stoppers ACT.  Quote 7862603. Information can be provided anonymously.
