Let’s meet two eager youngsters waiting to be adopted into loving family homes.

Oh, and of course, RSPCA ACT is open today, tomorrow (Saturday) and again on Monday, so there’s still time for you to fall in love with either Indi or Jackson and give them a home by Christmas.

Dog of the week: Indi

Indi is a two-year-old Bull Arab and is as delightful and playful as you could imagine. We also really wanted you to see her ridiculously goofy smile!

She’d suit a family home and is selective about other dogs, so if you already own one, bring them with you when you come to visit Indi. Who knows? They may just ‘click’.

Jackson

Dog of the week: Jackson

This handsome boy is also desperate to find someone to love him. Of course, there are many other dogs at our shelter right now, all of whom we’d dearly love to see join a family this Christmas.

That said, pets should never be surprise presents or impulse purchases.

Jackson is only six months old and would be a great candidate to be mentored or learn from an adult female dog. He’s still at that “everything is a game” stage where he gets super excited with people and jumps up.

That’s why we think having an older dog who can say, “What are you doing, you idiot? You’ll never score treats by carrying on like that” to show him what’s what.

This is all pretty normal for young juveniles like Jackson. Come and meet him. He’s very smart and fun, and he could be the perfect addition to your family home in 2025.

Pawnote: A special Merry Christmas and Thank You to all who have read this article each week and then talked about the animals with their family and friends. You have most likely helped one of hundreds of animals find a forever home, and we are truly grateful.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
