ACT records 584 new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded 584 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 377 identified by PCR and 207 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).

There are now 62 people in hospital, including three in intensive care and one being ventilated.

This brings the number of active cases in the ACT to 4469. Yesterday there were 620 new cases.

The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.6 per cent while 44.9 per cent of ACT residents aged over 18 have received a booster shot.

NSW recorded 13,524 new cases and 52 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Victoria recorded 10,589 new cases and 20 deaths.

Really, just how hard is it to build a swimming pool that doesn’t leak. Reminds me of another well known pool that wasn’t the required 50 metres. Go figure.
