The National Archives of Australia in Canberra is hosting mixed media drawing and wash watercolour painting workshops on the final day of The Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize exhibition on Sunday 9 November.
Students can take the opportunity to be an artist for a day, with a short tour of the Waterhouse exhibition followed by a live demonstration by art teacher Greg Devenny-Mackay from Lavender Art Studios.
Students can then create their own nature-inspired still life watercolours.
The workshops are suitable for students aged 5-18.
