ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Wednesday evening (August 24) on Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick.
About 5.30pm, the motorcyclist, a 43-year-old Flynn man, was travelling along Canberra Avenue (towards Kingston), near the Monaro Highway overpass, when a car changed into his lane and collided with him. The motorcyclist was knocked onto the median strip, losing control and flipping over the bike, injuring his shoulder.
The other vehicle has driven off without stopping.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who were driving along Canberra Avenue about 5.30pm on Wednesday and may have witnessed the collision between a black Suzuki Bandit motorcycle with ACT registration and the unknown car, possibly a sedan or station wagon.
