Canberra man dies in motorcycle crash near Tarago

A 40-year-old Canberra man has died in a motorcycle accident about 40 km kilometres south-east of Goulburn yesterday (15 November).

The man was travelling with a group of motorcyclists when he left the road and crashed into a tree at about 10:30 am on Cullulla Road, Lower Boro, east of Tarago.

The man was given first aid until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics and a rescue helicopter, but he died at the scene.

Officers from the Hume Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
