It is believed the driver briefly stopped before leaving the scene without rendering any assistance to the cyclist or providing their details.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have dash-cam footage around the time of the incident.
Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6543603. Information can be provided anonymously.
Surely the rego number can be made visible? Can’t they enhance the image to get the detail?
I note it is the usual “white Commodore” but this one has some distinctive features.
You watch too much TV. You can’t add data/info that is note there. Some imaging software can kinda fill in the gaps where it recognises something missing but as you can see in the image you can’t even really make out any of the blue in the lettering.
