I suppose we should have a story about horse racing on this day of the race that supposedly stops a nation. Two other major online media outlets have their stories today, although the ABC does focus on today being the last cup holiday for us here. I for one am pleased that our Family and Community Day is no longer going to be associated with the gambling industry.
Even the government’s event in Glebe Park today has a horse racing theme.
