ACT Policing is calling for witnesses and dash-cam footage of a white Volkswagen Jetta involved in two collisions between Phillip and Belconnen on Saturday afternoon (11 August).

About 12:20 pm, the white Volkswagen Jetta reversed into another vehicle before leaving the scene, driving off along Hindmarsh Drive in Phillip.

The vehicle was then spotted on the Tuggeranong Parkway, driving erratically towards Belconnen. The car then collided with a second vehicle towing a trailer.

Police were contacted, and a short time later the vehicle was intercepted on College Street, Belconnen.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collisions or may have dash-cam footage of the incidents involving the Volkswagen Jetta to contact police. Police would also like to speak to the driver of the vehicle towing the trailer that was struck by the Volkswagen on the Tuggeranong Parkway.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
